Made in the USA the Stetson 10X Open Road is new to Open Road series. Constructed of 10X Shantung straw it has a 4″ (approx.)regular oval crown and 2 3/4″ brim. Features include all-around venting, leather sweatband and brown (toast) and black (natural) grosgrain ribbon band with Stetson pin.Please note that the venting on these hats have a tendency to be wavy and uneven.

Worn. Reminds me of an old-timer’s hat. A little asymmetric. Has some crushing. May be able to be reshaped, but straw is in pretty nice supple shape. May have been a right hand grabber. Natural, authentic look to the flaws. Looks like it came out of my family’s estate, but it did not. Has the owner’s last name (I assume) in sharpie. Where would someone do that with a cowboy hat like this? I can only think of one place, off the top of my head. But, it is just a guess. Nice pattern to the weave. Thanks for looking.
