These are high quality footbeds made by Red Wing Shoes. In addition to making boots more comfortable, they can also help one fit into boots that may be slightly too large at first. These footbeds are 7mm thick, which is thicker than most footbed varieties, so I’d recommend using them on boots that have adequate room to spare. In addition to being thick, the footbeds also run large. I often wear US 10.5D true to size boots as is, but with the size 10 footbeds I can also fit into some 10.5EE, and 11D, boots as well. Sometimes I’ll intentionally get a pair of boots slightly too large just so I can use footbeds with them since they’re so comfortable. Footbeds can also help extend the life of ones boots since they absorb most of the sweat instead of the insoles underneath. When picking a size, it’s often best to go with a larger footbed since they can later be cut into a smaller shape. That being said, if the footbeds are cut and later returned I’d have to issue a only partial refund since I wouldn’t be able to sell them again. A partial refund would also apply if the footbeds were returned with obvious signs of wear.
