This is a vintage fedora from the B.R. Baker Co. department store in Toledo Ohio, founded in 1891, sold in 1961. Founder was originally a hat merchant and his store was the “local hat store” prior to him branching out into a full service men’s retailer. There is no date on the hat but the original price tag is still underneath the inside leather ring of hat which is cool. I don’t know anything else about the hat such as material or anything as there’s no other tags.

Vintage BORSALINO Diamanté Black Felt Fur Bowler Hat Near Mint! Free Shipping!

This listing is for a beautiful Borsalino Diamante bowler hat in excellent vintage condition. This hat is marked on the leather band and on the lining and appears to have been worn very little. Black fur is rich and beautiful with no major issues. Please look closely at the photos for condition details. The hat does not have the size marked but I have another hat from the same estate that is size 6 7/8 so I believe it is the same size or close to it. This hat was purchased in the 1960’s or 1970’s and is fresh from a Boston, Massachusetts estate. This hat would make a great gift and shipping is free.
