VINTAGE BORSALINO SAM LOEB HATTER’S OAKHIDE BOXES INC. HAT BOX W/ LEATHER STRAP
Up for Fixed Price Auction is a Vintage Borsalino Sam Loeb Oval Thick Paper Hat Box. Box has a Leather Strap closure with the embossed writing of “Sam Loeb Decatur, Ill.” The Box Lid has a paper sticker reading “A product of Hatter’s Oakhide Boxes, Inc. 707 Broadway New York City, N.Y.” on the underside. Box shows wear one would expect from an item of this age. Scuffs and scratches are present. Some areas show delamination of the paper veneer. Please refer to the listed photographs for the exact condition of the item. Oval box measures 15-1/4” by 13-1/2” by 7” tall (approximately). Hat box ships to the lower 48 states. Borsalino Hat Box Imported Italy Paperboard round 14″ x 12″ x 7″ Vintage with Strap (uneven black strings). This is a vintage « Borsalino » (empty) hat box that measures 14 1/4″ x 12 1/2″ x 7″ tall. The box reads, » Imported from Italy » and features interesting graphic in black and white of arches around the sides. There is a black cloth carry strap. This is a vintage, I believe from the 50s, pre-owned item in good order as shown with light everyday wear. My photos are of the actual item you are getting.
